Diane Harshell

Diane began her career in financial analysis and accounting roles across major healthcare, technology, and service organizations, developing deep expertise in reconciliation, variance analysis, revenue recognition, and fixed-asset management. Her early work — including senior analytical roles at Trident USA Health Services and Symphony Mobilex—sharpened her ability to translate complex financial activity into clear insights and actionable reporting for leadership teams.

Before joining Elmhurst, Diane served as a Senior Accountant for Forever, Inc., where she developed a reputation for being the stabilizing force behind high-volume cash operations, system migrations, online store testing, and daily revenue management. Her ability to identify discrepancies, streamline financial processes, and serve as a trusted partner across departments became hallmarks of her work.

Diane joined Elmhurst more than eight years ago, and she has since become a cornerstone of the accounting team. Her role touches every Elmhurst-owned entity—from reconciling bank statements and tenant accounts, to inputting and validating lease data in Yardi, to managing year-end tax coordination for investors. Because she understands both the operational and human side of tenant relationships, Diane often becomes the “go-to” contact for questions of all kinds. Her blend of accuracy, empathy, and institutional knowledge makes her an invaluable bridge between property operations, leasing, accounting, and tenant experience.
