Building Systems Oversight
As Site Manager, Ron Bianchi brings a steady, service minded approach to the day to day operations of 912 Fort Duquesne Blvd. He is the person tenants call when something needs attention and the one making sure the building is ready before anyone else arrives. With a background that spans long term care facilities, municipal public works, and warehouse operations, Ron is comfortable with both the technical details and the people side of the work. His focus is simple and consistent: keep the property in good working order so tenants can focus on their own responsibilities.

Professional Journey

Before joining Elmhurst, Ron served as Maintenance Director at Concordia in Pittsburgh, where he oversaw building systems and day to day maintenance in a long term care environment. The role required him to coordinate staff, prioritize work orders, and ensure resident safety while keeping essential systems running. It sharpened his ability to respond quickly, communicate clearly, and make practical decisions in settings where reliability is non-negotiable.

Earlier, Ron spent more than a decade with Mt. Lebanon Public Works handling cement and asphalt work, landscaping, painting, snow removal, and general maintenance. Working in all seasons and conditions gave him a deep familiarity with exterior infrastructure and site care, from keeping walkways clear in winter to maintaining grounds and hardscapes over time. He also developed a strong sense of responsibility for public spaces and the people who use them, a perspective that carries into his work at Elmhurst.

Ron’s earlier roles as a warehouse manager and sales manager provided experience in logistics, inventory control, and customer service, along with managing teams and training staff. Combined with hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC, he now brings a well rounded operational toolkit to his responsibilities as a site manager. At Elmhurst, that mix of practical skills and leadership helps protect asset value and provides tenants with a consistent, dependable point of contact.

“If the building is in good shape and people feel taken care of, then I know I have done my job.”
