Elmhurst is proud of its responsibility to our community and believes business success depends not only on financial results but also on social considerations.
Elmhurst employees are also committed to giving back to the community by volunteering their time at organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, the Western PA Conservancy and the Pittsburgh Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services.
Employees at Elmhurst-owned Doubletree Hotel Pittsburgh City Center have participated in programs for the Miller African Centered Academy, Light of Life Ministries, Special Olympics, Mister Rogers Neighborhood Sweater Drive, Toys for Tots and Operation Troop Appreciation.
Part of what makes our region thrive is the diversity within our communities. Elmhurst is proud to be part of Pittsburgh’s contribution to the national dialogue on racial justice. Our goal is to support this ongoing and necessary conversation, to oppose racism and make Pittsburgh an even better and more welcoming place to live.
